VASCO: A 23-year-old man from Katem, Baina was arrested for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.
According to police, the father of the victim lodged a complaint that one Samir Sheikh, resident of Katem, Baina sexually assaulted his minor daughter.
Based on the complaint, Vasco police has arrested the accused under section 376, sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and sections of Goa Children’s act.
