PANJIM: Almost a month after evading arrest, Minguel Carvalho of Saligao was finally arrested on Friday for allegedly setting a beach shack at Baga on fire.
Calangute Police arrested Minguel alias Michael Carvalho on charges of causing destruction to the shack, which injured two men. PI Jivba Dalvi said that the case pertains to an incident on January 4 wherein Carvalho has been charged with setting on fire and causing destruction to the shack. The two staff working in the shack were injured in the incident.
“The police team inspected the scene and collected vital evidence which implicated the accused person,” he said.
