VASCO: Vasco Police on Tuesday arrested one person for allegedly breaking open the dicky of a scooter parked at Bogmalo and stealing mobile phones and wallet from it.
The police recovered the stolen items and the arrested person will be produced before the court for remand on Wednesday.
Sources from the Vasco Police informed that they have arrested one person named Haider Ali (24) in connection with the theft of mobile phones and wallet. The modus operandi was conducted allegedly by breaking open the scooter dicky, which was parked, at Bogmalo on Tuesday.
The sources said that after the complainant filed a complaint, the police intimated their informers and caught hold of the suspect Haider Ali and recovered two mobile phones and wallet.
An offence is registered against the person.
