MARGAO: Maina Curtorim police arrested Noor Mohamad Shaikh on Friday who was wanted in the case of the theft of three antique statues from a chapel at Vanxem in Loutolim which was burgled and three century statue of Our Lady of Miracles, St Tiago and St Michael were stolen.
Noor was caught by the police on Friday on the railway tracks when they were searching for rape accused Ramchandra who escaped from custody from the District Court at Margao where he was brought for his trial.
