PONDA: Mardol Police arrested a Bihar native one Shubham Kumar Paswan in a token theft case reported in a paint company at Kundaim.
The accused had fled to his native place after committing the crime. The police finally arrested Shubham from his native place Rohtas, Bihar and recovered stolen tokens worth 2.25 lakh.
The token scheme was planned by the company to benefit its customers.
The police said that the incident took place between October 10 and 11 and the accused, working as a helper in the company, broke open the token room and decamped with two packets of 4,000 tokens of different denominations worth Rs 2.25 lakh. The company manager had lodged a police complaint.
