PANJIM: The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths on Tuesday arrested a 22-year-old waiter for allegedly peddling drugs worth Rs 4.25 lakh.
Information shared by ANC reveals that Kishan Singh was caught with 850 grams of charas at Morjim where he was waiting for his prospective customer. The contraband was found concealed in his scooter.
“Upon interrogation, Singh revealed that he is visiting Goa since last four years and working as a waiter in the shacks and hotels along the North Goa beaches. He was also in the illegal narcotics business along the beaches of North Goa,” a press statement issued by the ANC states.
