One held with ganja at Raia

The Maina Curtorim police on Wednesday evening arrested 19-year old native of Bangalore near the Raia cemetery and seized from his possession narcotic substance.
Maina Curtorim PI Sidhant Shirodkar informed that the accused, Shahid Guddar, presently staying at Davorlim had come near the cemetery to deliver the ganja to a customer.
Acting on a tip off, the police laid a trap near the cemetery and arrested the accused after he made his presence felt in the area. A search conducted on his body revealed that he was carrying the narcotic substance for delivery to a customer.
The police has arrested Shahid under section 20 (B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Further investigations are on.
