PANJIM: Old Goa police on Saturday arrested a native of Kolhapur for allegedly illegally possessing a fire arms and live rounds. According to Old Goa PI Sudeh Velip, the man Vivek Jware, temporarily residing at Indiranagar-Chimbel was caught with the gun and live rounds.
“We have seized the gun and live rounds. He has been remanded to six days police custody. We are interrogating him to know why he was carrying the gun and the live rounds and the source of procurement,” he said.
