PERNEM: Pernem Police arrested a 37-year-old Kerala native one Vipin Krishnan in illegal possession of narcotics substance.
PI Jivba Dalvi said, “A tip off was received that a person is involved in drug activities at Arambol. On Thursday, when the alleged accused came to deliver the same, he was traced at a guest house at Arambol and during the search, narcotics substance suspected to be hash oil, was found in his room. The hash oil was immediately seized and taken into custody. The seized drug is worth Rs 10,000 in the international market.
An offence under Section 20 (B)(II)(A) has been registered against the accused.
The raid was conducted by PI Jivba Dalvi along with PSI Sanjit Kandolkar, head constables Pravin Mahale, Gajanan Sawant, constables Ravi Mhaloji, Anishkumar Poke, Fati Naik and Mahesh Naik.
