MARGAO: The Konkan Railway Police registered an offence against Thana Rama (22), native of Barmer, Rajasthan, for possession of two country-made pistols and bullets illegally.
According to the police, based on a complaint, an offence under 3 of Arms Act 1959 has been registered. Vivek Kumar Pandey, Intelligence Officer, Narcotic Control Bureau, Sub Zone Goa, at Porvorim had lodged a complaint stating that alleged accused person Rama was found in illegal possession of two country-made pistols and 18 bullets – ammunition when raid was conducted by the Narcotic Cell Goa for seizure of narcotic drugs.
