MARGAO: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Margao on Thursday remanded one Vikesh Kumar (26), native of Delhi in an attempt to murder case, to six days custody.
Colva Police has registered an offence against Vikesh under Section 307 of IPC for attempting to commit murder.

According to an investigation carried out by Colva Police, the accused victim and one friend Bhushan Kumar (23), resident of Bihar, came to Colva from Delhi in connection with some urgent work and were residing in a rented room at Cavelossim. While they were sitting outside having drinks, the accused entered into arguments with the victim and in a fit of anger the accused picked up a bottle and hit the same on the head of the victim causing serious injuries.
Injured Bhushan was taken to Hospicio Hospital, Margao and later shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim for treatment.
