PERNEM: Drishti Lifesavers on Monday rescued a 34-year-old man at Arambol beach. According to sources, a group of 25 people had ventured into the waters despite the Drishti lifesavers on duty warning them of the presence of a rip current.
Despite several warnings, the group continued staying in the waters. After a while, a 34-year-old male found himself in distress after being caught in a rip current.
Drishti Lifesavers Karan Tandal and Nagesh Sarang rushed to his rescue along with equipment and brought him back to safety.
