PANJIM: The Directorate of Higher Education has invited online applications from the eligible candidates, for the scholarship scheme, named after former Chief Minister late Manohar Parrikar, who are willing to pursue post graduation or doctoral courses in India and abroad.
Under the “Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme” Rs 8 lakh would be provided to the candidate to pursue its higher studies in India or USD 25,000 for studies in abroad.
The last date for submitting online applications is July 31.
The scheme aims to promote pursuit of post-graduate and doctoral studies by talented younger population of Goa by recognising the meritorious and outstanding candidates by providing scholarship and to encourage the students for taking admission in India and abroad reputed institutions and to motivate them to take up cutting-edge research.
