PANJIM: With successful conduct of the mock online exams for Class X students of the remote talukas, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is of the view that the ‘online exam’ system is capable of handling low network bandwidth very smoothly.

At a time when poor networking connectivity is hampering online learning process across all the remote areas of the State, nearly 80 per cent of the total students registered for mock online test, answered the exam in a seamless way. The GBSHSE had conducted two-day mock online test for Class X students, aspiring to seek admission in Science or Diploma courses in Class XI. The test, held ahead of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based entrance examination, was specifically held for the students from Sattari, Bicholim, Sanguem, Quepem, Canacona and Dharbandoda, where internet access is a major issue.
