PANJIM: The Final Year Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) examinations conducted by Goa University will be held from Monday onwards through an online mode.
The examination for all regular and repeat semester for BA, BSc, BCom, B.Ed, BBA, and B Pharm will be held from August 3 onwards, while for M Pharm programme, affiliated to pharmacy colleges, it will commence from August 17.
In view of ongoing COVID19 pandemic, the Goa University had cancelled the semester examination; while final examinations, usually held in May-June, were deferred.
There will be only one question paper per subject per college and the question papers would be made available to the students through a variety of online platforms like Google Classroom, Moodle, email, WhatsApp, etc.
The duration of the examination will be of two hours.
The students will have to answer the examination and upload their answer sheets latest by 2 pm. Students can either type the answer electronically or write down the answers and then can scan or photograph and upload the sheet.
As far as PG programmes are concerned, the practical examination will be conducted online through a written exam and based on the students’ practical knowledge in the subject.
The Final semester examination will be conducted first and later the exam for Final Year students who have backlogs.
The performance of the PG students for the final semester examination will be arrived at by considering 30 per cent weightage for their performance in the earlier three semesters; 40 per cent in the intra-semester assessment and 30 per cent of the semester end assessment, which shall be conducted online.
