PANJIM: Crime Branch on Saturday busted an online sex racket being operated in Calangute and arrested two Uttarakhand based men.
A Crime Branch officer said that three victim women – one each from Uzbekistan, Delhi and Mumbai – were rescued following the arrest.
The officer said the arrested men – Ganesh Kumar Kapil (26) and Devendra Dosila (25) – have been placed under arrest and charged with relevant sections of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
Crime Branch conducted the raid based on the reliable information that the accused were hiding at a particular place along with the victim women.
