Carpe Diem – Majorda came alive with an Open Mic Evening presented in collaboration with Zeitgeist Goa and TEDx Panaji. Curated and hosted by Diya Padiyar and Loretta Rodrigues, the event drew an enthusiastic and diverse audience. The theme “It’s About Time” guided the performances, inspiring music, poetry, stand-up comedy, and storytelling that reflected unique perspectives and heartfelt experiences. Each participant brought their own voice to the stage — some seasoned, some first-timers — creating a space where personal stories resonated deeply with the audience.
There was a debut stand-up performance, met with warm encouragement and laughter, making it a truly memorable moment. Multilingual expressions added further richness, as performers seamlessly blended languages, cultures, and ideas. The audience, too, engaged with questions, reflections, and their own stories, making the evening an interactive and inclusive experience.
