MARGAO: TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai has clarified that he would only opine on the issue of NGT case transfer after the government takes a line of action. Vijai has denied that he got bullied by opposition and media reports and advised all not to jump the gun.
Speaking to media, Vijai said, “I am of the opinion that we can’t be oblivious of the judiciary. The chief minister is on record that having it in Pune is a logistical disaster for Goa government. However, the court has spoken. Now we need to see what happens ahead.”
Once government takes its stand, “we will see if we are toeing it or not,” Vijai said.
“No red carpet will be rolled out for red category industries in Goa and that is the essence of the order,” he told.
