Organisers promise innovation at Sunburn

CALANGUTE: The organisers of the Sunburn Music Festival are all set to make the event a huge success at the new location in Vagator.

CALANGUTE: The organisers of the Sunburn Music Festival are all set to make the event a huge success at the new location in Vagator.
Percept Limited, the organisers of the event, which gets underway on Friday, has gone in for innovations at this year’s festival with massive space available with seven performance stages.
Interacting with media persons at the Vagator venue, Shailendra Singh said: “The festival is all about fun and music with innovations which I hope the fans will appreciate.”
“We are improving with every event and with bigger place at Vagator, we had options for innovations which have put in place like the sunset view atop the hill, fun village,” said Singh.
“Music has the power to bind people together and we were feeling a bit uneasy at Candolim and we got the right place for innovations at Vagator. We have experienced at Candolim and given whatever we could for the Candolim village,” said Singh.
“Vagator is the new venue and has nothing to prove, but get better and better with our brand. Sunburn fans are also restless fans and they want more and more and our latest innovations will definitely fascinate them. We have lot of happenings for fun and enjoyment through food, music, reading, games besides, we have also focused on environment with an environment stage for Green Goa,” added Singh.
Elaborating on safety and security measures, Singh said: “We have medical facilities available to meet the exigency needs while security will be looked into by the private agencies and Goa Police.”
“We have sufficient parking space for two-wheelers and four-wheelers. We have a zero tolerance policy on drugs and have conveniently displayed ‘No-Smoking’ signs at the venue. In all, 127 DJs will perform live, while my son Shaan makes his debut on December 28,” added Singh.
“Our Sunburn motto is ‘Live, Love and Dance’ through music and we hope to prove it with our event,” said Singh.
Earlier, Singh and his team gave the feel of the new venue by showing the seven stages put up at different points at the massive venue at Vagator. Different facilities and services available at the venue were also explained to media.
