The Chief Minister, during his visit to Hospicio on Tuesday, said that doctors, nurses and staffers is no major problem facing the hospital, but the problem is the very attitude of these staffers towards the people. “This is indeed a serious problem which can be overcome through periodic orientation. The staff members and PRO should undergo training for 15 days”, he said, even as the Health Director Dr Rajananda Desai said that nurses and staffers, including servants will undergoing training from June this year.
Kamat said the Hospicio PROs have been directed to interact with the patients to ascertain whether they receive free medicines in the hospital.
