CURCHOREM: Gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 1.50 lakh were stolen from a house at Asolda-Quepem on Thursday.
According to Quepem Police, Domingoes Fernandes of Assolda-Quepem complained that some persons entered his house by breaking main door locks and stole cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.50 lakh.
MARGAO: In housing breaking incident at Maina Curtorim on March 21, unknown persons entered the house of one Doe Rangel and stole gold ornaments and cash amounting to over Rs 95,000.
In her complaint Doe D Rangel, who is resident of Gansao, Maina Curtorim has stated that accused broke opened the main door of house when no inmates was at home.
An offence of theft under Section 454, 380 IPC has been registered.
against unknown accused and PSI Pradeep Velip is investigating. Dog squad and finger print experts were also pressed into service.
