VASCO: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goa elections in-charge Devendra Fadnavis, in a public meeting at Headland Sada of Mormugao constituency, urged locals not to fall prey to the tall promises made by the other political parties. Fadnavis disclosed BJP’s vision to make technologically advanced Goa.
“Our vision is to create technologically advanced Goa. Electronics sector is employment generating area and in Goa the electronic city is going to come shortly. BJP is trying to create sustainably developed Goa. Aatmanirbhar and Swayampurna Goa initiative is also doing great in the State and the administration is coming at the doorsteps of the citizens,” said Fadnavis.
He claimed that the Congress party has become weak. In last elections Congress party has become like a Nano car with only four MLAs in Goa. He said that in Goa, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) party from Delhi and Trinamool Congress (TMC) from Kolkata are trying their luck in Goa. “AAP’s Delhi model is a big lie. Delhi govt doesn’t have anything to offer to the people besides, electricity, water supply etc,” said Fadnavis.
He further claimed that BJP govt has integrated Goa. BJP has brought various big scale developments. He applauded the Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi’s efforts in manufacturing the vaccines against COVID-19. “Despite of all odds PM Modi made sure that this vaccine should reach to nook and corners of India and Goa became first state to complete the vaccination program. Because of BJP govt Rs 21000 crore worth developmental works was initiated in Goa.
He further urged people to reach out to many people under booth abhiyan.
Sadanand Shet Tanavade, president of BJP Goa said Mormugao constituency is the best constituency where BJP is strong. “This time we (BJP) want to make hat trick in Goa,” said Tanavade.
