PANJIM: The Bharatiya Janata Party has said that the developmental works carried out by the State and Central governments would help the party win both the seats in the Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing press conference in the city, BJP’s Goa desk in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna criticised the Congress for adopting a manifesto that would weaken the nation.
“The manifesto of Congress is to make the nation weak like removal of AFSPA, changes in sedition law etc,” he said.
On the mining issue in Goa, he said, the two members of Parliament and the RS MP have done lot of hard work. “After the Lok Sabha polls, I am sure a solution will come out soon as the State and Central governments are working in tandem,” he said.
Further, he said, in 2014 BJP fought elections in the name of Narendra Modi but in 2019 “it is the work done by Modi in 5 years.”
