A major accident was reported at
Caranzalem on Saturday afternoon between a four-wheeler and a Kadamba bus
ferrying schoolchildren. The over speeding SUV with three occupants dashed
against an oncoming Kadamba bus and brought down two light poles, turning the
vehicle into a mangled metal. Luckily, the occupants escaped with injuries and
have been shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. Further
investigation is on.
