PERNEM: Mapusa police have registered a case against Nachinola Panch Satish Govekar for threatening an assistant engineer (AE) of Electricity Department.
According to Mapusa police, electricity connection of Govekar was disconnected due to non-payment of electricity bill amounting to Rs 25,000. Angered at this, Govekar abused and threatened AE (commercial section) Devendra Karapurkar with direct consequences if the connection was not restored.
The police have booked a case under Section 353, 506(II) and 504 of IPC.
