Union Shipping Minister G K Vasan said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that a committee would be formed comprising representatives of the Goa government and Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) to look into issues related to land acquired by the port trust.
He said that the Goa government acquired 23,553 sq metres of land at Adarshnagar, in Vasco city, for rehabilitation of persons affected owing to construction of a four-lane highway from the port to National Highway 17.
