MAPUSA: A committee has been constituted to conduct a post-mortem on the five-month-old infant girl from Sirsaim, who was allegedly killed by her parents.
The post-mortem will be conducted on Wednesday to ascertain the exact cause of death.
While investigating the case, the Colvale Police have now started recording statements of family members of both the accused persons.
It may be recalled that on the eve of Independence Day, a five-month-old infant girl was allegedly murdered by her own parents at Sirsaim by using a wooden rolling pin to beat the child to death.
