PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will head the State Level Committee (SLC) to monitor progress on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) to improve the compliance with the EoDB ranking.
Besides, Chief Minister — as Chairman, the new reconstituted committee will have Industries Minister as vice-chairman.
The other members would be Chief Secretary,, Secretary (Industries), Secretary (Information), Secretary (Information Technology), Secretary (Finance), Secretary to Chief Minister, Additional Secretary (Finance) and Chief Executive Officer, Goa Investment Promotion Board will be the member secretary.
The committee will facilitate the process of undertaking reforms to comply with the Business Reform Action Plan circulated by the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
