MARGAO: Claiming that the State government has not taken any corrective action to reduce the sufferings of municipal workers including safai karamcharis, the Goa Municipal Employees Association (GMEA) on Monday urged the National Commission for Safai Karamcharis to intervene into the matter at the earliest.
Anil Shirodkar, general secretary of GMEA also urged the National Commission to raise the issues pertaining to the Safai Karamcharis with the Goa State Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant at the earliest.
