PANJIM: The Mopa Police booked a woman for allegedly opening a cage containing a dog and for creating panic among other passengers in the flight.
Speaking to O Heraldo, Pernem DySP Rajesh Kumar said the incident occurred in the Delhi-Goa bound flight on Saturday afternoon. The accused Alisha Adhana from Delhi boarded the domestic flight with her dog kept in a cage. The cage was kept in the cabin and as per the protocol the cage was not supposed to be opened. However, Alisha opened the cage and kept the canine on her lap to which fellow passengers expressed their apprehensions.
Her act created panic in the cabin mid-air. A complaint was lodged by the airline duty manager and a case was registered against Alisha Adhana under Section 336 of IPC for threatening and endangering lives of crew and fellow passengers, DySP Kumar said.
