PANJIM: The Panjim Carnival Committee on Tuesday announced the prize winners of the Carnival float parade held in Panjim last Saturday.
In the traditional category, the first prize was bagged by the float led by Raul Pereira while the second prize went to the float led by Vijay Menezes, third prize to the Jeron Colaco led float, fourth to Bernard Rodrigues (Arpora) and the fifth place to Piety Boys Youth led by John Lobo.
In the Club/Institutional category, the winners are Maddar Youth Club, Achanak Youth Club/ Reserve Bank of India, Lovely Boys of Tonca and fifth to St Jerome Boys (Mapusa).
The Panjim Carnival Committee also awarded prizes to Family category, Fun Junky Car category and the Clown/Joker category.
