PANJIM: The State government has ordered shifting of Panjim Traffic Cell from Santa Cruz Police Headquarters to Panjim.
According to an order issued by Office of the Directorate General of Police (DGP) dated October 13, 2023, the Traffic Cell, Panjim, which is functioning from the Police Outpost at Santa Cruz will be shifted to the premises where Anti-Narcotic Cell (ANC) police station is functioning at the Goa Police Headquarter, Panjim.
The ANC police station will be shifted to Santa Cruz Outpost premises where Traffic Cell functions.
“The Traffic Cell, Panjim, functioning from the police outpost Santa Cruz is hereby shifted to the premises where Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) is functioning at PHQ, Panjim, and ANC shall be shifted to Santa Cruz Outpost premises where Traffic Cell is functioning,” the order said.
According to Panjim Traffic Cell PI Chetan Saulekar, problems were being faced at Santa Cruz.
