PANJIM: It has been learnt through reliable sources that the gelatin sticks found during a search after the blast, were illegally sold to Paplu by some suspected persons, who are now under the Crime Branch radar.
The deceased, who had come down to Goa a month ago to exclusively run the wild boar meat business, was reportedly purchasing crude bomb at Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 each.
“The crude bomb was used to kill wild boars. The meat was sold for above Rs 1,000,” disclosed the official. Police have rounded up some suspects.
