MARGAO: To commemorate the Holy Spirit feast and the conclusion of the yearlong celebration of 450 years of the parish, a Parishioners’ Evening will be held on May 15, on the Church ground, Margao, from 5:30 pm onwards.
A small fair with games stalls, food stalls having authentic Goan menu, snacks, sweets, Bhelpuri and soft drinks will be put up by the parish wards and associations of the Church. Parishioners from Self Help Groups will display homemade pickles, papads, handicraft items such as needlework, crochet work for sale. The parishioners will entertain the gathering with songs in Konkani, Portuguese and English.
Earlier in the day, Masses will be held in the morning at 5, 6, 7, 8.15, 9.30 (Feast Mass) and 11:45 (English). The concelebrated feast Mass will be presided over by Bishop of Ranchi Theodore Mascarenhas.
