PANJIM: The Mapusa Police on Friday arrested a pay parking attendant Ravi Ramesh Talwar, 23 from Bastora for allegedly assaulting a couple and outraging the modesty of a woman over pay parking charges.
The victim in his complaint to police stated that he wanted to park his vehicle for two-to-three hours but the attendant insisted that he should pay for the entire day to which the former refused.
Police stated that this infuriated the attendant who rained blows on the victim, tore his T-shirt and causing loss amounting to Rs 5,000 to him.
