Well, it goes without saying that Parrikar received loads of suggestions as his fan mail list is soaring 5003. Another prominent BJP leader who is on the Facebook is North Goa MP Shripad Naik.
Though Naik is not as vocal as Parrikar, he has started asserting his stand in the party via Facebook. On January 1, he posted on his wall saying “I will contest from Porvorim. It is a demand from my people and I can’t hurt my people. I am waiting for green signal from our national president Nitin Gadkariji.”
While BJP’s two leaders are trying to catch up with voters via Facebook – the Congress MLAs are not ready to face the Facebook. And probably prefer their old and trusted schemes of networking.
Except Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, none of the Congress MLAs are on Facebook.
