PANJIM: Continuing on his campaign trail, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday interacted with residents of Patto, including those residing at the government quarters. In a corner meeting held in the evening, various civic and related-issues were discussed at length.
Party sources said that the CM, accompanied by former Panjim MLA Siddharth Kunkalienkar and hundreds of supporters and has covered major parts of the capital till date. He will visit Altinho and Fontainhas-Mala next.
While filing his nomination papers on August 2, Parikar had assured a 365-day-long action plan for Panjim which will begin once the election results are declared.
He also assured that all issues from development to infrastructure and education to personal problems and issues pertaining to basic amenities like water and electricity in Panjim will either be solved or action towards resolving them will start in a year.
