Parrikar visiting all constituencies

VASCO: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday held meetings with BJP workers of Dabolim, Vasco and Mormugao constituencies to mobilise voters for the rally of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at Merces on January 12.

VASCO: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday held meetings with BJP workers of Dabolim, Vasco and Mormugao constituencies to mobilise voters for the rally of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at Merces on January 12.
Addressing the workers at a meeting at New Vaddem in Dabolim constituency, Parrikar said he is visiting all the 40 constituencies to take stock of the situation on the arrangements made by various booth and block level BJP committees to mobilise voters and vehicles for the meeting at Merces.
“People cutting across religion are eagerly waiting to attend the meeting and hear Modi,” claimed Parrikar and added that he has estimated one and half lakh voters to attend the meeting and Parrikar has passed on this responsibility to the BJP workers.
“While commenting on the hike in LPG prices, Parrikar said as assured by him, even if the Centre and the petroleum companies do not help, he will deliver the LPG cylinders at subsidised rate of Rs 450.
Commenting on the building that collapsed at Canacona, Parrikar blamed the erstwhile Congress government for granting the permissions and he will conduct serious inquiry and said he will book and punish the guilty.
South Goa Lok Sabha BJP candidate Narendra Sawaiker said BJP has targeted to mobilise one and half lakh voters for the meeting and urged BJP workers to inform all those who are attending the meeting to carry their tickets along with them.
