PANJIM: Former chief minister late Manohar Parrikar’s son Utpal Parrikar, on Monday said he is confident to contest on the party ticket from Panjim constituency. Utpal has already conveyed his desire to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goa Pradesh to fight the polls in the 2022 assembly elections.
“I have full confidence that the party will give me a chance to contest the polls from Panjim constituency. I have spoken to the party leaders about contesting from the capital city,” he said.
Utpal also added that it is for the party to decide as the experts are on the job doing their ground study on the ticket aspirants.
