PANJIM:  Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has assured that he would give a “corruption-free” government to the people.
“This government will be sensitive, sensible and keep away from corruption.
A non-corrupt government for the people of Goa,” Parsekar told media persons on the sidelines of the swearing-in ceremony of two ministers on Saturday.
“Overall I feel that my government should reach out to even the smallest section of society. There should not be any complaints,” he said. “With portfolio allocations, full-fledge governance will begin from Monday.”
The Chief Minister who holds the Home portfolio has also asked police force to change their attitude and approach towards the people, especially towards complainants. He said: “Police inspectors and constables are the ones who are in direct contact with the people and complainants. Their attitude needs to change. It’s important to have good relations (with the people).”
