PANJIM, APRIL 25
Around ten participants of a refresher course in electronics held by the Academic Staff College of Goa University have written to the University Grants Commission alleging irregularities in the course.
The all-India participants complained against the local participants alleging that the latter never attended regular classes but were still awarded higher grades.
The participants further accused that no study study-material was supplied before the examinations and no practical works assigned to them. They complained that the course coordinator was arrogant and refused to entertain their queries.
They stated that the whole evaluation process was not transparent and the coordinator did not submit to the ASC required documents and datas before awarding the grades.
It is learnt the participants have forwarded their complaints to the ASC Director and Vice-Chancellor of GU. Varsity officials are inquiring into the matter.
