PANJIM: Former tourism minister Dilip Parulekar was on Friday rushed to hospital after he had a sudden fall in a market area at Saligao.
Parulekar, two times BJP MLA from Saligao, is currently admitted in Manipal Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment for brain haemorrhage.
Sources informed that Parulekar suffered brain haemorrhage which has led to slight mouth deviation. He was initially rushed to Vision Hospital in Mapusa and was in ICU.
Parulekar was later shifted to Manipal Hospital and kept under observation as precautionary measure.
Sources informed that the former Minister is currently stable.
