Passenger trains cancelled till May 3

MARGAO: As the lockdown to arrest spread of corona virus is extended, Indian Railways has decided to extend till May 3, 2020 the cancellation of all passenger trains including premium trains. However, to transport essential supplies, RoRo, goods and parcel trains will continue to operate.

While no ticket booking will be done as all the booking counters will remain closed till further notice, cancellation of tickets will be functioning but that too only online. While refund will be paid for trains cancelled up to May 3, no refund will be paid for bookings of the cancelled trains.

Incidentally, while the refunds will be automatically remitted online to customers, for tickets booked across the counters, refund can be collected up to July 31, 2020.
