PANJIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane revealed that all the 245 passengers of a flight from London to Goa had tested negative for COVID-19 via the RT-PCR Covid test method. The flight operating under Vande Bharat Mission arrived from London’s Heathrow Airport earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Rane further stated that all travellers from high risk countries have also been tested at the airport and have reported negative.
“Two per cent of travellers of all non-high risk countries were tested and reported negative,” he added.
Regarding the 5 suspected Omicron virus patients in Goa, the health minister explained that four of them are asymptomatic and that the 5th patient who is symptomatic has improved and is doing well.
