VASCO: Few students of MES College, Zuarinagar, and other passengers suffered minor injuries after the bus in which they were travelling rammed into a car and roadside boulders in Alto-Dabolim on Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the accident occurred at 12.50 pm; a Vasco-bound Birla passenger minibus had picked up students of MES College and was plying the four-lane highway when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus collided into a stationary Innova car and then rammed into roadside boulders, due to which the passengers suffered minor injuries.
The injured were given first aid by the medical personnel of a Vasco 108 ambulance, while one student had to be taken to Cottage Hospital Chicalim for further treatment. Vasco police have conducted the panchanama and are investigating the case.
