MARGAO: After a long delay, the Passport Seva Kendra has finally begun an extended counter at the Matanhy Saldanha Administrative Complex, Margao.
The Seva Kendra has begun on a trial basis and is supposed to be a boon for thousands from South Goa who have to travel to Panjim for passport- related work.
Now if one has work at the Passport Office in Panjim they can book appointments at the post office Passport Seva Kendra. This Kendra was promised some years ago, however, it did not take off then.
The Kendra will begin taking 20 appointments for fresh passports per day as a trial basis and will process it at the Kendra.
