PONDA: Amit Shanu Gawde, 36, an unmarried resident of Chirpute, Bandoda, has been reported missing at the Ponda police station, prompting his family to seek assistance from the public in their search efforts.
According to information provided by the family, Amit Gawde experienced a fall on the road near Kadamba bus stand in Shapur, Ponda, resulting in injuries. He was taken to the Sub District Hospital in a 108 Ambulance and later transferred to the Goa Medical College for further treatment.
Amit’s health reportedly improved on Saturday morning, and he was sent back to the Sub District Hospital for continued care. However, after being discharged from the hospital, he went missing.
Growing increasingly concerned, the family filed a missing person’s report at the Ponda Police Station late on Monday night.
