PANJIM: Why does staff from GMC’s CT scans force patients to buy CDs only from the government run Goa Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Ltd run pharmacy at GMC, which are sold at double the rate compared to open market rates?
Patients have complained that the staff insist that those undergoing a scan should bring a CD only from the GAPL The patient, who approached Herald, has pointed out that the CD is sold at Rs 20 and is supplied in a brown envelope.
She said she switched CDs after buying from the GAPL Pharmacy and inserted the blank CD she brought from home in the brown envelope and it was accepted without a question and without checking or even noticing that the switch had been made.
