The Corporation of the City of Panaji and Imagine Panjim Smart City Development celebrated World bicycle day in Panjim on Friday.
The cyclothon was flagged at Garcia de Orta and via DB Bandodkar Marg, Dr. Jack De Sequeira Road, Dona Paula Beach, and Divja Circle. Chief Secretary, Puneet Kumar Goel, served as the chief guest for the occasion. Goel encouraged the participants to take up cycling as a mode of transport; Goel expressed his wishes to watch the cycling community in Goa grow.
