PANJIM: RTI Activist Kashinath Shetye has demanded penal action against the Traffic Police as well as Transport Director for failing to enforce the amended Central Motor Vehicle Act.
In his complaint lodged at Panjim Police Station, the activist has demanded FIR under Section 166 (a) of Indian Penal Code against Transport Director, Traffic SP and Dy SP and others concerned for following the old Motor Vehicle Act despite the amended Act notified by the Centre.
